Film Scoring
In the Spring of 2025, I composed a soundtrack for a friend's student film. Although the final cut ultimately went in a different direction musically, resulting in my work going unused, the experience was still invaluable. It reinforced my interest in film scoring, and I'm eager to pursue more soundtrack work in the future.
My Work

Initially, I composed without specific guidance, resulting in an emotional, melodramatic piece that I believed suited the scene. However, after consulting with my friend, I learned the scene required a more relaxed atmosphere. This led to a significant revision of my approach.
The first version, reflecting my original interpretation, can be heard from 0:00. The revised, more laid-back composition begins at 1:19. |

For the film's finale, I initially composed an emotionally intense piece, believing it matched the characters' pivotal moment. After review, my friend suggested a more subdued yet impactful approach.
The original, more dramatic version begins at 0:00. The revised, calmer composition starts at 1:03. |
